hello!

Yavae is a published illustrator and designer specializing in character design, visual development, creative product design, and visual storytelling. She is an artist at Nickelodeon Animation Studios on Baby Shark's Big Show, and other unannounced projects.

A Wisconsin native, Yavae grew up with blizzards and cold winds, but her love for warmth has moved her to bring heartwarming moments to screen and print. And now as an LA-based artist, she has all the warmth to last a lifetime! Her art highlights cultural and identity-forward concepts and visuals, with sensitivity to all people, places, things, and creatures.

Creating cartoony, colorful characters that experience the full spectrum of human life and its treasures - as well as its lessons - is Yavae's passion.

In her playtime she enjoys playing musical instruments, listening to soul and folk music, finding humor in the mundane, and entertaining her kitten, Lazlo.
